  • The Stanford Seed Global Summit (the Summit) is a three-day event that occurs every two years and brings together members  of the Seed Transformation Network with Stanford faculty, university leadership, and other special guests to learn, connect, and be inspired by the global Seed community.

  • The next Stanford Seed Global Summit will be held 3-5 April  2025 at the Century City Convention Centre, Cape Town, South Africa.

  • The Summit is a transformative three day event that offers a diverse range of activities including company site visits, dynamic sessions with Stanford faculty, and structured and unstructured networking opportunities. Learn more in our agenda.

  • Yes. A 3-Day General Admission pass  to the Summit is $550 USD.

  • The Summit is exclusively open to  business leaders who have successfully completed the Seed Transformation Program (Seed Transformation Network members).

    In addition, a limited number of senior management guest passes were opened at the end of January. Guest passes are limited to 1 per company, must be used by senior management team members, and the company leader must be already registered for the Summit.

  • Attendance at the summit is restricted to members of the Seed Transformation Network, plus a limited number of senior management team member guests. Seed released a limited number of guest tickets for senior management from companies that have completed the Seed Transformation Program, and whose leaders are also attending the summit. 1 guest ticket per company.

    All registered attendees are able to purchase tickets for a spouse or significant other to attend to the closing celebratory dinner on Saturday, 5 April 2025. Guests are not permitted to attend any other portion of the Summit, and will not be admitted to sessions.

  • No. spouses and family members of Network members are not eligible to attend the Summit.

  • All attendees  who plan to participate in the optional Company Excursions on Thursday, 3 April 2025 should plan to arrive in Cape Town, South Africa by the evening of  Wednesday, 2 April 2025. If you do not wish to participate in the Company Excursions, you may choose to arrive on 3 April 2025.

    The Summit will close with a celebratory dinner on Saturday, 5 April 2025 which will close after midnight.  We do not recommend flying out until the morning of Sunday, 6 April, at the earliest.

  • Century City Conference Centre has two onsite hotels, and a few other hotels within a few minutes walk. Stanford Seed has organized  hotel blocks at nearby properties. Rooms are filling fast and will run out, so book today.

  • Registration for company excursions will open on Tuesday, 4 March 2025 and close on Wednesday, 19 March 2025.

    Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis.

  • The commencement ceremony will be held the evening of Thursday, 3 April 2025, after the company excursions. The ceremony will be followed by a reception that all Summit attendees are welcome to join.

    All company excursions will return in time for members of the STP Africa Class of 2024 to participate in the commencement.

  • Full refunds are available if an attendee cancels more than 30 days before the Summit.

    Please note, after 5 March Stanford Seed will not process refunds. By this date, Stanford Seed will have final cost guarantees in place with our venue based on registration numbers.

  • The majority of the Summit, sessions and company excursions, is business casual.

    The Saturday Evening Celebratory Dinner at CABO Beach Club is an indoor-outdoor venue. We encourage guests to dress in attire that reflects the occasion's festive spirit, while embracing the oceanfront location and sandy areas of the venue. An extra layer is recommended, as the evenings can become quite cool and stilettos or very high heels are not recommended.
